Push Your Way In

Today, the Lord is speaking this for someone.

“It takes tenacity to push into my presence,” says the Lord. “It takes persistence. You have to be willing to fight past your flesh, the noise around you, and the tasks that call for your immediate attention.”

“Drop your burdens,” says the Lord, “for your schedule has become part of your affliction. In my presence is peace and fullness of joy. Draw life from my well. Draw the energy you need to persevere in this life.”

“Come into my inner court. Come into my presence. Stay and rest with me for a while. Take my yoke upon you because my yoke is easy and my burden is light. You will find everything you need here, and everything else will fall into place. Come and be with me. Come and worship. Be filled to overflowing in my presence.”

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.- Matthew 5:6

I'm Jessica. I'm listening. To pen the things that are being impressed on my heart to record and share. To inspire. To lend perspective. To dare others to hope. Perhaps you're on a similar journey. If so, let's run (ok, maybe power-walk) together.
