Dreams

“Pray for the gift of dream interpretation. I am sending you before kings and I will make you my mouthpiece to declare my will from heaven.

Many who do not know me or my will will know that I am GOD in heaven. I sit upon a throne as ruler and judge over kings, kingdoms, wealth, and treasuries.

I am the revealer of mysteries among me. I will turn the hearts of sinners to me with dream in this hour.”

And the Lord spoke took me to Daniel. I literally prayed and asked God for confirmation of this word in the scripture. I don’t even know when I wrote this but I took a photo as proof for where I had written the words, “Pray this for dream interpretation” years ago (#mindblown). My bible was given to by my prayer warrior mother, and she wrote, “El Elyon, the God Most High; Sovereign ruler”

I have written these words in Daniel 1:19-23 as a declaration and prayer that I speak everyday per the Lord’s instruction to me.

Daniel’s greatness stems from his resolve and quiet refusal to adapt to a Babylon culture, lifestyle, and mentality. At all costs, he lived his faith, he believed and trusted God, and he continued to pursue God despite his surroundings. He fasted. He prayed. He sought God for everything, even an interpretation to Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. He made communication with God a regular practice.

America is enduring its own exile. We have turned our back on God and the tenants this nation was founded on. And now we are seeing the fruit of what it means when a nation forget the Lord. Thankfully, the Lord always preserves for himself a righteous remnant who he will use for his purposes in a wayward nation to draw the hearts of the people back to him. Daniel, while captured and deported to Babylon, was given a position of prestige in this king’s court. And God did as he always does by having have HIS way. The Lord gave a dream to the king, and the Lord provided the dream and the interpretation through a willing and set apart vessel.

Daniel made space in his life to commune with God; I’m assuming to study the torah; to pray; to worship the Lord despite the fact that is was completely countercultural. May you and I be like Daniel. May we have the courage to biblically dissent. May we have the courage to live with our bodies on earth and our minds and spirits in the kingdom. May we have the godfidence to take dominion and advance his cause through our testimonies and our daily living in our spheres of influence- beginning in our homes and local churches. And may the Lord cause us to go before great men and women because of the gifts he has given us. May God get his glory through his remnant.
