The Corona

Sharing what the Lord spoke to me this morning during my quiet time.

“I will do something that the world has never seen. The nations will bow to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, for the plans of man will fail. My purposes will stand. I am already doing it. Can you see? Look with the eyes of your spirit and see my hands building up and tearing down. Such things will happen and will baffle the minds of men. But my chosen will know that it is by my hand that it was orchestrated.

Corona was just the beginning. The world will once again see who wears the crown. I am worthy of worship. I am worthy of praise. A stubborn people who would not bow will be made to bow. My people, my chosen, my standard, MY NAME will be lifted high among the nations for all to see.

I am God and there is none like me. I change the times and seasons. I set up kings and depose them. I give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. I send my Daniels, my Esthers, my Beloved who have chosen me over the systems of the world. They will be my vessels of influence to turn the hearts of kings and kingdoms back to me.

Now is the time. Watch what I will do. Mine is the kingdom. Mine is the glory. Mine is the power. FOREVER. Amen.”

He led me to Numbers 21 which details the historical account of The Bronze Snake.

They (Israel) traveled from Mount Hor along the route to the Red Sea, to go around Edom. But the people grew impatient on the way; they spoke against God and against Moses, and said, “Why have you brough us up out of Egypt to die in the desert? There is no bread! There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!” Then the Lord sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died. The people came to Moses and said, “We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, he lived.

Life and Salvation Is Found in Jesus

When the bronze snake was hung on a pole, the Israelites didn’t know the fuller meaning that Jesus would bring to the event. Jesus explained that just as Israel was healed by looking at the snake, so all mankind would be saved from the sickness of sin by looking to Jesus’ death on the cross. It was not the snake that healed Israel- it was the belief that God would heal them by obeying his instruction to gaze upon the snake.

What will you believe? Who will you believe in? What will you live for? Who will you live for?
