Days Of Glory

Yesterday the Lord spoke this word to me:

“I am distinguishing between Mine and the world. I have marked my Beloved and no harm will come to them. They have been chosen out of the world to serve Me; to make My Name KNOWN now in this generation. My soldiers have been sharpened by a lifetime of battle; by friction and sanding and stripping away, so that what is eternal remains. They are ready for battle, and a battle it will be, but greater is He that is in them than he that is in the world.

My days of glory are coming and My Army, My Bride will do the work prepared for them before the foundation of the world.

RISE up. Now is the time to declare my kingdom with boldness. My Kingdom come, My will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

The verse the Lord took me to after speaking this to me is Matthew 24:14 (New Testament), but I’m including the passage to lend context here:

“As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us”, they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

The Bride of Christ Is Marked

In Exodus 8:22, the Lord speaks to Moses saying, “Confront pharaoh saying,’ This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me. If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people, and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies, and even the ground where they are. ‘But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen (the descendants of Jacob and the 12 Tribes of Israel), where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the Lord, am in this land. I will make a distinction between my people and your people. This miraculous sign will occur tomorrow.'”

Ezekiel (Old Testament) speaks of the judgment that came upon God’s people who have worshipped idols and done “detestable things” in the temple and throughout the city of the Lord. In Ezekiel 9, the Lord tells a man clothed in linen to put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that Israel is doing in the city. The group was the remnant of the remnant; those who the Lord spared while the rest of the people were destroyed. He tells his angels, “slaughter old men, young men and maidens, women and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the elder who were in front of the temple.

There is a judgment that is coming to the world and to the church. I keep hearing the word “sifting” as I type this. To sift means to separate something, especially something to be discarded, from something else. I believe this is a word of warning to believers who have either become lazy, who have fallen asleep, or who are professing Jesus with their mouths but not living to serve him.

If that resonates with you or if you’re feeling nervous or an “oh no” feeling in your gut, I strongly encourage you to ask God to show you where you sit. The Lord is so gracious and compassionate, he never judges without warning us first. But a time is coming where we will all have to give account for what we said and did while professing faith in Jesus. The church at large has become more like the world, with only a sliver of christians pursuing life with a biblical worldview- meaning that the Bible is their guide for living, and they don’t just read the word, they do what it says.

You’ve Been Chosen Out Of This World

I’m speaking to a select group of people here. You know you’re chosen because the adversity you’ve face for the majority of your life culminates in this upcoming season. You’ve been kicked, knocked down. Maybe you almost died. You’ve often wondered why your life has been so hard when you’ve had God show you great promises from a very young age. You often talked to God as a child. He made himself known to you at a young age (whether you acknowledged him or not) to show you that you would not face your near-death trials alone. You’re special-ops of the kingdom of God. Youve been battle tested, and you’ve wanted to give up a handful of times, but something inside of you won’t let you accept defeat. You get back up and move forward, even during those times when all you could do was crawl.

The Lord was working in you a Romans 8:28 life where he was causing all things (the pain, the rejection, the failures, etc.) to work together for your good. I know you may be tired, but you’re also stronger because of the adversity you’ve faced. You never lost hope in what God could do although you doubted what he could do through you. Romans 8:28 says “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. I was going through Bible translations to help this make better sense for those who didn’t grow up in church, and I love what the Voice translation says:

“We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.”

Eternal Mindset Over Earthly Matters

For many of us, a lifetime of trouble was really about breaking generational curses and deconstructing worldliness from our lives handed down from our family who came before us. I’m not making that statement to blame or point fingers, it’s just facts.

God’s word says in Deuteronomy 5:8 where the Lord instructs Moses to tell the children of Israel:

“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath on in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sins of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations, of those who love me and keep my commands.”

The Lord made this command because he knew that he put the desire to worship something inside of us when he created us. While many Christians believe that the Old Testament doesn’t apply today, setting your mind’s attention and heart’s affection on anything above God is worship. If you’ve ever put work above going to church or spending time in God’s word, you’ve elevated an idol. If you’ve ever just read the word but never put it into practice, you’ve got an idol hidden somewhere that you value more than a transformational relationship with Jesus.

The truth is, we’ve all done it, but for this chosen group who are marked to make him known, he’s spent this time to strip the world and those hindrances, curses, and blind spots from your identity so that you are prepared for the assignment he has for you in this season.

You Know You’re Different Now

If this word is resonating with you, you know that you’re different now. You’ve yielded to the work of the holy spirit. You’ve said goodbye to relationships, friendships, people, and things that you know aren’t rooted in the things of God. You might still be tired, but there’s a new resolve in you. You’re not entertaining the past. You can see where we are in Bible prophecy, and you know that the Lord is calling you to live boldly for him.

Pray On Your Armor Every Day

The Lord tells us that the battle he’s calling us to won’t be easy, but he promises us that He will be with us through it all. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:10-19). He encourages us to put on the full armor of God every day. As I pray this prayer I see myself wearing my protection in the spiritual realm, the realm that is constantly affecting the physical realm that you and I see with our actual eyes. You have your armor, and your weapons (the word of God and prayer in the Spirit). I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be unprotected and vulnerable to injury in the spiritual realm.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood (our struggle is not against each other or the things we see here on earth). It’s against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit (tongues) on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and request. With this in mind, be alert and keep on praying for all the saints.”

He tells us in 1 John 4 that we are overcomers because “greater is he (the holy spirit) that is in us than he (the devil) that is in the world.

Rise up. Make His Glory Known

The Lord has put his mark on you to set you apart, to distinguish you for a special assignment. You already know this, and this word brings you confirmation. The Lord tells you today to RISE up. It’s time to come up to the front line. It’s time to go. You know it. You’ve been feeling it. Submit your voice and will to the will of God and he will graciously reveal the strategy he has for you in this time. To be bold means to be confident and courageous. It’s not aggressive. It doesn’t find fault, but it proclaims truth according to God’s word. It’s time to do the work that was appointed to us. It’s time to lay down our desires, to run into battle, and carry his Name.

Heaven is breaking through to earth, and we will see Him with our eyes very soon.
